The immersive visuals were captured by Ragnar Th. Arnar þrþronrsson, founder of Arctic Images and drone pilot, works with the Parlan Museum, “hosting state-of-the-art 8K planetarium and other exhibitions on Iceland’s geographical wonders.”On March 19, 2021, the first volcano in about 800 years erupted. Since then, it has produced incredible images of lava spewing out of cracks and allowing photographers around the world to see geological phenomena.
